Welcome

Parenting kids, tweens and teenagers can feel heavier than you expected.

You love your child deeply. You might also feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure how to respond to the big emotions and behavior shifts that come with this stage.

You do not have to carry that alone.

I provide therapy for parents navigating stress, burnout, and emotional intensity while raising kids, tweens and teens. This is especially true for families in neurodiverse or high needs households. Together, we focus on helping you feel steadier, more confident, and more connected at home.

Therapy for parents of kids, tweens and teens in Colorado

My Approach For Parenting Support

I offer therapy for parents of kids 8-14 (but no hard cutoffs!) across Colorado using a neurodiversity affirming and trauma informed lens.

This work is not about blaming you or fixing your child.

It is about understanding nervous systems, emotional regulation, and the stress that builds up in families during this stage of development.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence based therapy. In our work together, we focus on:

  • Regulating your own nervous system during high stress moments

  • Understanding your child’s emotional and behavioral patterns

  • Reducing conflict and increasing connection

  • Creating structure and boundaries without constant power struggles

  • Supporting your well being so you can show up more steadily

When parents feel supported, families change.

Things I Can Help With

Parents often reach out when things feel overwhelming or stuck. I support caregivers of children ages 8–14 with:

  • Chronic stress, burnout, or feeling on edge

  • Managing big emotions and emotional dysregulation

  • Frequent power struggles or escalating conflict

  • Navigating ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other neurodiverse needs

  • School stress, academic challenges, or peer difficulties

  • Strengthening connection during the transition into adolescence

  • Co parenting or blended family dynamics

  • Feeling guilty, depleted, or unsure of yourself

I offer individual parent therapy as well as joint sessions that may include your child or another caregiver.

All services are virtual across Colorado and available in English and Spanish to support bilingual families.
