Therapy for parents, preteens, teens, and families all together

Parenting preteens and teenagers can feel heavier than you ever expected, and that does not mean you are doing it wrong.

You love your child more than anything. And you might also feel exhausted, lost in the conflict, or unsure how to reach them the way you used to. The emotional intensity of these years is real, and it is a lot to carry.

You do not have to carry it alone.

I provide therapy for parents navigating the stress, burnout, and emotional weight that can come with raising preteens and teens, especially in neurodiverse or high needs households. I also work directly with kids and teens in individual therapy, as well as with families together, so the support is not just on you to figure everything out alone. Together we work on helping you feel steadier, more confident, and more connected at home, not because everything becomes perfect, but because you find your footing again.

Why Choose Me- School Based Therapist Turned Parent Support Specialist!

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs there is, and you deserve support from someone who truly gets it. I am a bilingual Spanish-English Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience working with families in schools, in homes, and in communities. I have sat with parents in some of their most overwhelming moments and I know how much courage it takes to ask for help.

What sets me apart is the depth and range of experience I bring to every session. I have worked with all kinds of families across all kinds of situations, which means I am not easily rattled and I am rarely starting from scratch. I understand how schools work, how systems work, and how the stress of one part of life bleeds into every other part. I see the full picture.

I also offer something that is hard to find: therapy in both English and Spanish, so you never have to search for the right word in your most vulnerable moments. You can just talk.

My work is warm, practical, and grounded in real evidence. I will not just listen. I will help you move. Parents who work with me feel steadier, more confident, and more connected to their kids and to themselves. You are already doing the hard work of showing up for your family. Let me help you show up for yourself too.

Things I Can Help With

Parents often reach out when things feel overwhelming or stuck, and just taking that step takes courage.

Raising a preteen or teenager is deeply meaningful work, and it can also be exhausting, confusing, and isolating. I am here to support caregivers who are doing their best and need a space to breathe, reflect, and find their footing again.

I work with parents navigating:

  • Chronic stress, burnout, or feeling constantly on edge

  • Big emotions and emotional dysregulation, yours and theirs

  • Frequent power struggles or escalating conflict

  • ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other neurodiverse needs

  • School stress, academic challenges, or peer difficulties

  • Reconnecting and strengthening your bond during the transition into adolescence

  • Co-parenting or blended family dynamics

  • Feelings of guilt, depletion, or self-doubt

You do not have to figure this out alone.

I offer individual parent therapy as well as joint sessions that may include your child or another caregiver. All services are virtual across Colorado and available in English and Spanish to support bilingual families.
