Therapy for parents, kids, teens & young adults
Change starts by taking the first step.
The first thing we do is slow down. Before any strategies, before any goals, before anything else, we take time to actually understand what's going on. Not just the behavior or the symptom that brought you here, but the whole picture.
That might look like a kid who can't get through a school day without falling apart. A teen who has pulled away from everything and everyone they used to love. A young adult who is exhausted from holding it together on the outside while something feels like it's unraveling on the inside. A family where the hard moments have gotten louder and more frequent, and nobody knows how to find their way back to each other. Sometimes it's something heavier than that, something that's hard to say out loud, and that's okay too. We go there when you're ready.
From there, we start to make sense of it together. A lot of the people I work with have spent a long time feeling like something is wrong with them, like they should be handling things better, or that everyone else has figured out something they haven't. Part of what we do in this work is untangle that story and find out what's actually true.
Then we build. Not a generic plan, but something that actually fits how you or your kid moves through the world. That looks different for every person, and that's kind of the point.
"Blair took her time with me and always made me feel like I was being heard. She worked hard to provide a safe and inclusive space where I felt very comfortable expressing my genuine feelings. I am very happy with all of the treatment I received from Blair and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking safe and inclusive therapeutic treatment."
